Integration · CharmHealth
Recupra + CharmHealth: a cancelled visit becomes a booked one.
CharmHealth runs the schedule for many integrative, functional and primary care practices. Recupra connects with the API credentials Charm issues to your practice, reads each provider's open time from Charm, and books recovered patients straight into the calendar.
No call. No credit card. Plug-and-play setup in 5 minutes.
The integration
How Recupra works with CharmHealth
Charm keeps its own workflow statuses on every appointment, such as Confirmed, Checked in, No show and the two cancellation statuses. Recupra reads those names as they are, so the trigger you pick in Recupra is the status your front desk already sets.
Charm answers availability for a provider at a facility. Recupra fits each visit type's length into that open time, so a 60-minute visit is never offered into a 30-minute gap.
What frees a slot in CharmHealth
- Cancelled by patient
- Cancelled by physician
- No show (optional)
A status without a label triggers a recovery call by default. The ones marked optional stay off until you turn them on.

Side by side
CharmHealth keeps the waiting list. Recupra makes the calls.
What CharmHealth does on its own
Charm has a waiting list for patients who want an earlier visit, and appointment reminders by text, voice and email.
What Recupra adds
A waiting list still needs someone to ring it when a visit opens. Recupra does that call the same day the cancellation shows up in Charm, inside the calling window and timezone you set, and books the patient who says yes.

Vocabulary
Recupra speaks CharmHealth
Your agent uses the words your staff already use, so nothing on a call sounds translated.
- Member → Provider
- A Charm member who can sign encounters is a provider Recupra books with.
- Visit type → Appointment type
- Its duration sets the length of each offered slot.
- Facility → Location
- Charm reads availability and books per facility.
- No show → No-show
- Charm's own workflow status. The recovery rules key on it.
Setup
Connecting CharmHealth takes one sitting
- 01
Request API access from CharmHealth
Charm issues API credentials to each practice. Ask your Charm administrator or Charm support for the client ID, client secret, refresh token and API key.
- 02
Paste the credentials
Enter the two domains Charm sent with the credentials. They name your data center, so there is no environment to choose.
- 03
Set provider hours and visit types
Charm reports open time only for providers with working hours at the facility, and Recupra offers only visit types with a duration.
On the phone
A waiting list call after a cancellation
A Tuesday afternoon follow-up is cancelled in Charm. The patient on the waiting list asked for an earlier visit with the same provider.
- Agent
Hi, this is the clinic. You asked for an earlier follow-up, and Tuesday at two thirty has opened up with your provider. Would that work for you?
- Patient
Yes, Tuesday is fine.
- Agent
You are booked for Tuesday at two thirty. You will get the clinic's usual reminder before the visit.
The agents
Every agent runs on CharmHealth
The roster does not change per EHR. Whichever system you run, you choose which of these to turn on.
Waitlist Agent
A slot frees up and the agent calls the best-matched patient from your list, then books them in.
No-Show Agent
A patient misses a visit and the agent calls inside your window, finds out why, and reschedules.
Reminder Agent
Upcoming visits are confirmed on the channel each patient answers, so the miss surfaces early.
Referral Agent
A referred patient gets a call as soon as the referral reaches you, and the first visit is booked into a real opening.
Intake Agent
A new patient who books gets a call that asks your intake questions and puts the answers in their record.
Follow-Up Agent
A patient who leaves without the next visit in their plan booked is called while the plan is still open.
Reactivation Agent
Dormant patients get a warm check-in calibrated to their care history, not a sales pitch.
Campaigns Agent
A list you hand over is called through inside your hours, one visit type at a time, until everyone has an answer.
Receptionist Agent
Reschedules, hours, and routine questions are resolved on the inbound line without staff.
The platform
Outcome-based, HIPAA-compliant, no migration
Recupra runs a diagnostic on your real clinic data, shows where revenue is leaking in dollars, and lets you activate the agents you want, paying only when they recover real revenue. See the outcome-based pricing, read how it works, or compare every EHR integration.
CharmHealth stays the system of record. Recupra never migrates your data.
CharmHealth FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect CharmHealth to Recupra?
Paste the API credentials CharmHealth issued to your practice: two domains, a client ID, a client secret, a refresh token and an API key.
Why does Recupra see no open time for a provider?
Charm reports availability only where the provider has working hours at the facility. Check the provider timings in Charm's calendar settings.
Can Recupra confirm a CharmHealth appointment?
A Charm booking is created as Confirmed, and Charm has no separate patient confirmation, so there is nothing further for Recupra to write.
